Social Security Seminars

Woodard & Clark hosted 3 seminars on Thursday, November 6, Tuesday, November 11, and Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 6pm (the third had to be added because of the huge waiting list!!) at The Country Inn restaurant in Warren, RI, with John F. Woodard, Jr., CPA as the presenter.  The seminar included dinner and was free to anyone over the age of sixty (60).  All three seminars completely sold out!!  We were greatly pleased by how many people showed up and by the extremely positive feedback that we recieved!!

 

Participants learned some of the the little-known techniques to optimize Social Security benefits and were introduced to our exclusive benefits optimization tool. Because the purpose of the seminar is to have a thoughtful, inclusive discussion, we limit participation.

Shredding Event

Saturday, May 12, 2018 8am to 12pm

 

While Spring cleaning, so many of us have confidential papers that we're afraid to just throw out without making sure they don't contain any confidential information.  We have the solution for you!

Throw them in a bag or a box and come to our annual shredding event.

​

Starting this year, we will be having our shredding event on the second Saturday in May to correspond with the Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive.  There will be a box on-site for the collection of non-perishable food items which will then be brought to the RI Community Food Bank by Rhode Island's letter carriers.

Wine Tasting Cruises

To show our appreciation to our clients, we held two wine tasting cruises.

 

They were taken on an extraordinary tour of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay, passing by historic lighthouses, Fort Adams, Clingstone, and numerous scenic landmarks. 

 

While on board, they sampled roughly 20 wines from JC Import Company, an importer of Chilean varietals that are grown in the Andes Mountain Range of South America.
